“Wayli” was released on January 17, 2026 as a landmark collaboration between regional music icon Al Shami and PUBG MOBILE. Written and composed by Al Shami and produced by Rayen Agha under BME Global, the track accompanies what has been described as the region’s first cinematic animated music video built entirely within a game world. Creative direction and AI animation were led by Pablo Rivera, with VFX by AMUN.RA3 and editing by Osama Bones. The project was executive produced by Ahmed El Gohary.
The collaboration marks a creative first in the MENA region — a cinematic animated music video built entirely using PUBG MOBILE’s in-game visuals to tell an original love story. Al Shami, a Syrian artist and Guinness World Record holder as the youngest artist to reach No.1 on the Billboard Arabic chart, brought his signature blend of Arabic and Western influences to a massive gaming audience. The partnership expanded further in February 2026 with an in-game Al Shami event, exclusive voice pack, character outfits, a Dabke emote, and unlockable tracks, deepening fan engagement across both music and gaming platforms.
