“Raindance” was released on October 23, 2025, as the fifth track on Dave’s third studio album, The Boy Who Played the Harp (Neighbourhood Recordings), serving as the project’s lead single and Tems’ only feature on the LP. “Raindance” reached Number 1 on the UK Singles Chart in January 2026 — Dave’s fourth UK chart-topper and Tems’ first. A TikTok dance challenge set to the song’s bridge, posted by creator @zoebaptistee in December 2025, gained millions of views and kept the track’s momentum going through the Christmas season. It also peaked in the Top 10 across countries including Australia, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The January 2026 music video, filmed in Lagos and portraying Dave and Tems as a couple, fueled widespread fan speculation about a real-life relationship between the two artists.
