“Peligrosa” was released on July 13, 2024 via UnitedMasters as the fifth single from Chilean rapper FloyyMenor’s debut EP, El Comienzo. Written and produced entirely by FloyyMenor himself, the reggaeton track was later included on the EP upon its release on August 9, 2024. The official music video premiered the same day on FloyyMenor’s YouTube channel, directed by Ignacio Cruz.
“Peligrosa” built on the massive momentum FloyyMenor gained earlier in 2024 with his breakout global hit “Gata Only” alongside Cris MJ. The track debuted at number 48 on the Hot Latin Songs chart and peaked at number 25, while reaching number 2 on the Billboard Chile chart and earning a gold certification in Spain after climbing to number 4 there. It also charted in Argentina, Ecuador, and Peru, and reached number 85 on the Billboard Global 200 — cementing FloyyMenor’s rapid rise as one of the most prominent new voices in Chilean reggaeton.
